Principal
Lindsay Pollard has been working in the dance industry since 2000. She gained her IDTA Performer qualifications in Clitheroe, before undertaking professional training at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks. Lindsay then trained with Mrs Gladys Sutcliffe, achieving her IDTA Professional qualifications, later becoming an IDTA Fellow. In 2015, she was appointed as an IDTA Theatre Examiner, and elected as a member of the Tap Faculty in 2025.
Lindsay has been Principal of Ribble Valley Dance since 2010, when she took over the established Mary Waddington School of Dance, which had been training dancers in Clitheroe for many years.
In addition to leading the team at Ribble Valley Dance and visiting dance schools across the UK in her role as an Examiner, Lindsay is also an experienced choreographer, with numerous musical theatre credits to her name.
