Principal
Lindsay Pollard has worked in the dance industry since 2000. She began her training in Clitheroe, where she achieved IDTA Performer qualifications, before continuing her professional training at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks. Lindsay later trained with Mrs Gladys Sutcliffe, gaining IDTA Professional qualifications and subsequently becoming an IDTA Fellow.
In 2015, Lindsay was appointed as an IDTA Theatre Examiner, and in 2025 she was elected as a member of the IDTA Tap Faculty.
Since 2010, Lindsay has been Principal of Ribble Valley Dance, having taken over the long-established Mary Waddington School of Dance, which had trained dancers in Clitheroe for many years.
Alongside leading the team at Ribble Valley Dance and travelling across the UK and Europe in her role as an examiner, Lindsay is also an accomplished choreographer, with numerous musical theatre credits to her name.
