Principal

Lindsay Pollard has been working in the dance industry since 2000, gaining IDTA Performer qualifications before professional training at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks.   She then trained with Mrs Gladys Sutcliffe to gain IDTA Professional qualifications, eventually becoming an IDTA Fellow & was appointed as a Theatre Examiner in 2015.  

Lindsay has been the Principal at Ribble Valley Dance since 2010, taking over the existing Mary Waddington School of Dance which had been training dancers in Clitheroe for many years.  In additional to training dancers of all ages at Ribble Valley Dance and visiting dance schools around the UK in her role as an Examiner, Lindsay is also an experienced Choreographer with many musical theatre credits to her name.
